This forum is one of the biggest health events in Portugal, bringing together hundreds of renowned national and international experts every year to discuss the future of health and the main challenges facing health professionals and governments around the world.
The event was attended and actively participated in by some of UE’s professors, namely Hélia Gonçalves Pereira, rector of Universidade Europeia, Lourdes Martín, director of the UE’s Faculty of Health Sciences, Adalberto Campos Fernandes, strategic coordinator of the Health Sciences area, Alexandra Bento, coordinator of the Nutrition area, Francisco Goiana da Silva, coordinator of the 100% online Master's Degree in Health Management, and professors Abel Garcia Abejas and Francisco Miranda Duarte.
Under the motto "Health for All", the main objectives of the Global Health Forum 2023 are to raise awareness of the role of healthcare in economic development, social cohesion and citizen safety.
"It is with great satisfaction that Universidade Europeia has joined this discussion forum, where we have been able to bring to the table various issues that also concern us as academics and researchers, knowing that we can contribute with viable solutions and alternatives for the proper functioning of healthcare in our society. It's also an excellent opportunity to share knowledge, experiences and ideas about the future of healthcare. On behalf of Universidade Europeia and the professors invited to be speakers in this project, I thank you very much for inviting us to organize the event, and I reaffirm our ongoing commitment to promoting dialogue and the advancement of knowledge in the area of health," says Hélia Gonçalves Pereira, UE’s rector.
