Non-European students must have a visa in order to study in Portugal. To obtain this visa, we'll send you an “acceptance letter” after receiving and checking all of your documents.
If your visa does not cover your full study period in Portugal, you can send an email requesting our International Office to extend it. This email has to be sent 1 (one) month before the expiring date of your visa.
For this, you will need the following documents:
- 2 photos (ID style);
- Proof of address in Lisbon;
- Proof of livelihood.
After collecting all the documents, you have to set a meeting with our Immigration Service (SEF) by calling the following number: (+351) 808 202 653.
All international students must have health insurance. In order to obtain details on this matter, you may contact your International Office for advice and guidance. If you are a European citizen, you just need to have the European Health Card.
