Coordinator MS in Management (MiM)
PhD in Management and a Masters in Accounting from ISCTE Business School (ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa). He graduated in Management at ISEG (Universidade Técnica de Lisboa) and in Economics (Universidade de Évora).
He is Assistant Professor at the School of Social and Business Sciences of the Universidade Europeia, where he has taught various subjects in the areas of Financial Management, Management Control, Cost Accounting, in undergraduate and master's degrees (Portuguese and English). He is Coordinator of the Master in Management and of the Master in Management and Business Strategy.
He has been a university lecturer at ISCTE-IUL (Assistant Professor), at ISEG, at Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Lisbon), at Universidade Lusófona and at Instituto Superior de Gestão and a trainer at CIFAG/IPE, teaching courses in the areas of Financial Management and Analysis, Strategic Management, Management Control and Management Accounting.
He has several international scientific publications and is a peer reviewer in three international indexed journals. He is a researcher at BRU-UNIDE (ISCTE-IUL). He has received three scientific awards - best paper award at an International Conference (Slovenia) and two scientific awards at ISCTE-IUL. He has also published several articles and technical books.
At the corporate level, he has held management and board positions in several organisations in the industrial, distribution, financial (venture capital) and banking sectors.
